Miller Communication Consulting is a Human-Communication training and consulting firm specialized to enhance how people reliably captivate, not just communicate. We’re on a mission to train the leaders of the world and set the model of effective, science-based communication and leadership for everyone else to follow.
Training focused on the neuroscience of captivation.
Human-Communication & Captivation.
Human-Communication refers to communication from one human to another: peer to peer, team leader to teammate, thought leader to captive audience. Experts at real ‘Human-Communication’ have not only mastered the art of what is being said (only 20% of the communicated message) but understand and embody the skill of how to deliver it (80% of the communicated message). Most communicators don’t focus on the most important ingredients to winning people over.
The Science Of Listening.
MCC builds physiological habits that help you listen more effectively - habits you can use again and again. Great communication starts with learning how to stay present and open to all of the information being shared, rather than hearing a few words and retreating to your own world to formulate a response. By teaching you to listen and grasp the entire message being communicated, we help you develop empathy and understanding with your colleague, client, boss, audience, or anyone else with whom you come into contact.
Find, Sharpen & Embody Your Whole Voice.
All master communicators have a message and a voice. Voice, of course, can refer specifically to the physical instrument that can be controlled and trained like a muscle. But more importantly, Voice also refers broadly to the authentic personality and specific point of view of the communicator, whether in spoken or written communication. MCC works on the entirety of what is being conveyed - sometimes explicitly, but more often implicitly - to help communicators find, sharpen, and embody their whole voice.
Miller Communication Consulting was founded by Scott A. Miller, the creator of The mVm Miller Voice Method® and a world-renowned communication leader at the NYU Tisch Graduate School. MCC provides the world’s top organizations, teams, and leaders with breakthrough communication skills to captivate audiences into action and make the world a better, more connected place.
